What we're looking for
The biggest new shift in signage is working towards finding ways to innovate eco-friendly sign processes and products. This sign business would have considered using environmentally friendly and recyclable materials, made efforts to reduce unnecessary energy consumption and to provide a more sustainable work environment. This business may also be seen to demonstrate leadership and vision within the sign industry and may have made efforts to enable their customers to meet their own environmental objectives whilst also supporting and nerturing their biggest asset - their employees.
Category Requirements
Awarded to a Sign Business who: • Shows outstanding examples of innovation and resourcefulness within their business and/or community • Have made efforts to enable their customers to meet their own environmental objectives • Are a forward-thinking business demonstrating leadership and vision through new ideas and initiatives for the betterment of the sign industry • Investment may have been made into the likes of balancing carbon footprints into environmental projects by way of a carbon offset scheme • Invest in employees through training • Provide a supportive environment for all staff where they are rewarded for hard work and look forward to coming to work • Committed to training the next generation of signmakers through well-rounded apprenticeships.
