Our judges were really impressed with this project. Pearce worked with Natwest to design reusable signage that is completely sustainable saving 22 tonnes of landfill and 97 tonnes of CO2Now THAT is Sustainability in signage!
What we're looking for
This looks at a project where great consideration has been given to environmental factors, resulting in a more sustainable solution. This could mean using a technology to reduce the carbon footprint, only longlife materials or where sustainable materials have been used.
Category Requirements
Judges need to see close up detailed and distance photos, ideally photos of signs in place to see how well they relate to the environment. Judges will need to understand the brief and how it was achieved. Consideration will be given to material selections, longevity and aesthetics. A detailed description of techniques and methodologies used is required.
How your entry will be judged
25% Effective design, flair and originality.
50% Thought and consideration of materials and how effective the choices made are in reducing the carbon footprint.
25% Complexity and variety of techniques utilised.
